In February this year Ideal released a safety recall on the following range of boilers:
- Logic Combi2
- Logic System2
- Logic + Combi2
- Logic + System2
- Logic Max Combi2
- Logic Max System2
- iMini2
- Independent Combi2
- Keston Combi2
- Keston System2
This affects boilers manufactured between August 2022 and 7th January 2024.

The issue relates to a small number of boilers that can potentially have an overheating problem. The recall required an Engineer to visit and install an additional overheat safety thermostat. The installation takes around 20 minuets to complete.
Ideal have quoted that this only affects 1 in 10,000 boilers and that the recall is a precautionary measure.
